Alun has a BA(Hons) and has been the lead singer in various rock bands since he was 14, even performing at the NEC. He started his career as a Sound Engineer and has some great celebrity stories. When the events market crumbled in 2008 he came to ElectrAssure on a temporary basis and never left.

He’s been a key part of ElectrAssure’s evolution to EV Charging Specialist from the start. He is married with two sons and is investing in their future.

Gareth Hawkins is a time-served Managing Director with a 20-year career in industry, during which he built, bought and sold businesses, including service, consumable and power-electronics equipment companies.

He is experienced in Leadership, Governance, M&A, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Compliance and Technology. An MBA graduate and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Gareth supports innovative leaders with critical decision-making, helping their companies to scale responsibly and sustainably, remove obstacles to their growth, improve robustness and manage key inflection-points along their journey.

Sam has worked at ElectrAssure for over 18 months as the Office Manager. She’s responsible for running all aspects of the office including the accounts. Prior to joining the business, she worked in a school so she could be around for her children, the NHS as a Doctor’s Admin and as an NHS Transport supervisor, dealing with all aspects of patient transport. She finds the best thing about her job is its variety and watching ElectrAssure’s growth.

Starting out as a Clerical Assistant in Eastern Electricity Stevenage, Sharon now has over 33 years of experience in the electricity utility industry working with high voltage up to and including the 132KV OHL network.

She has worked with most of the DNOs in the country and has now project managed over 500 replacement link boxes, offering a level of experience and expertise which is second to none!

Zach started working for ElectrAssure as an apprentice 3 and a half years ago. He’s an electrical engineer and installs and maintains the charge points – specialising in defects and repairs.

Before ElectrAssure, Zach studied computer science, but quickly realised that he wanted a more hands-on role, but with a technical aspect.

For Zach, the best thing about working for ElectrAssure is the work ethos and close knit team.

Clark joined ElectrAssure in 2016 as an apprentice in Electrical Installation. He’d finished a year of Sports Science but realised this wasn’t his passion. In 2021, due to his exceptional performance and work ethic, he was promoted to Qualified Supervisor. In his role, he’s responsible for project management, overseeing the sites and managing the site team including apprentices.

Clark has exceptional attention to detail and ensures all installations are completed to his own high standards. He enjoys working in the EV sector, knowing that he’s helping the environment and giving clients the right product solutions and service to keep their fleets on the road.

Leveraging extensive knowledge of the EV industry and fleet management, TJ designs tailored solutions that meet clients’ current needs and are future-proof for sustainable growth. With a dynamic background in Operations, TJ ensures seamless business operations.

Outside of work, TJ is a hands-on car enthusiast, constantly restoring and enjoying old project cars. TJ kick-started his journey twisting wrenches as a mechanic. His passion propelled him to obtain a Motorsport Engineering degree, leading a fervent team to build an EV race car for the ‘Formula Student’ competition at Coventry Uni.

TJ believes EVs can revolutionise our lifestyle, paving the way for a greener future. From domestic use to long-haulage in the Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) market and applications at sea, EVs can make a massive impact on our environment.
