Level 3 (L3) Charging

Meaning:

Level 3 (L3) Charging Level 3, or DC fast charging, converts AC power to DC inside the charging unit and delivers it directly to the battery, bypassing the vehicle’s onboard converter. Outputting 50kW to 350kW+, it can add 100 miles of range in as little as 20 minutes.
